Siddhartha Institute of Pharmacy approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, is affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun and recognized bythe Government of Uttarakhand. The institute evolved under SGI to nurture the future pharmaceutical scientists and professionals of the nation and ensures its students technological upgradation for the industries and also render human services to the community and nation. The institution has well equipped laboratories keeping in view today's industrial scenario and futuristic developments. Modern pharmaceutical analytical technique lab is equipped with sophisticated instrumentation facility viz. HPLC, HPTLC, UV-visible Spectrophotometer, GC-MS, Mass Spectrophotometer to extend expertise to the students in modern and latest analytical techniques. The institute has its own herbal garden. Pharmacognosy laboratory has all the facilities to process and standardize herbal drugs. Pharmaceutical laboratory has all the facilities to make the students gain expertise in development and testing of various drug molecules. The institute has well equipped computer lab with high speed broadband internet connectivity with printing facility. The aim of the institute is to provide systematic guidance and extensive training with a broad vision to students through multidimensional programs by the faculty coupled with latest tools and techniques in Pharmaceutical Sciences to make them potential leaders in the profession of pharmacy. Emphasis is also laid in organizing industrial tours frequently to introduce the students to working environment. Compulsory training is imparted to all students for bridging the gap between industry and institution along with entrepreneurship development programs.

Admission to the course of B. Pharma being run by Siddhartha Institute of Pharmacy will be made through entrance test conducted by the Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun. The date and other details of the scheduled examination are advertised prominently in the leading news papers of the region. Those seeking admission in NRI/NRI sponsored seats must apply directly to the Institute. Admission/Registration form and Prospectus can be obtained from the campus office on payment of Rs 375/- in cash/DD in favour of Siddhartha Educational Society, or by post on payment of Rs 425/- by DD payable at Dehradun. |
